Question: List the things that Charaka has described in his book.

Answer: Charaka lived about 2,000 years ago. In his book, he described the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases. He described in detail the various stages through which food passes before being fully digested. He stressed on the importance of hygiene in the treatment of digested. Answer: Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was a famous social reformer. He fought against the unjust practices in society at a time when the English ruled India. He worked hard to improve the condition of the poor and of women. So Sir Syed laid stress on the education of the masses. He believed that the first step to reform Indian society was to educate people. In 1859, he started a school at Moradabad.
