Parents express frustration as CJP protest in Delhi forces schools to conduct online classes, postpone exams

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest in the National Capital has disrupted the functioning of several schools, prompting the administration to postpone exams and shift classes online. This has not just disrupted academic activities in Delhi but also the daily routine of the children’s parents.

Many schools in Delhi are forced to conduct online classes bcoz of protests

While the justification has been ensuring the safety of students amid disruptions in the city, parents are dismayed by the continuous disruption of academics due to CJP protests.

“Many schools in Delhi are forced to conduct online classes because of protests; a few weeks later, smog will force online classes. Better send these mandbuddhi jobless protesters to punjab, to protest against stubble burning. Let them do at least something useful in life,” tweeted one frustrated parent and X user.

Media spoke to 2 parents who have been frustrated by the inconvenience caused by the Cockroach Janta Party followers.

“We received a circular shifting everything online, and suddenly working parents are left scrambling to arrange for childcare. Physical classrooms cannot be treated as collateral damage every time there is a demonstration in the city,” Sunita Verma (the mother of a Class 6 student) told us.

“After everything our children lost during pandemic lockdowns, push-button online school should be an absolute last resort. A screen cannot replace a classroom, and our kids shouldn’t have their education disrupted because basic traffic and civic management collapse due to CJP protests,” one Rajesh Malhotra remarked.

In the meantime, schools have directed students to stay updated about the latest developments through official communication channels about classes and exams. The CJP protests brought life to a standstill for many residents in the National Capital with the hopes of holding the government to ransom.
