Question: What are latitudes and how many of them are there?

Answer: Imaginary line drawn parallel to the equator which run east to west on earth’s surface are called latitudes. There are 181 line of latitude.

Question: State the importance of the International date line?

Answer: The 180º longitude is also called the International date line. The moment you cross to the east of it you gain or add a day, and if you cross to the west of it you loose or subtract a day.
