The board had to make this decision to compensate for the loss of studies that occurred due to the coronavirus outbreak all through the country. The deleted portion of the syllabus is applicable only for the current academic session and will not be a part of the internal assessments and annual examination. The board has rationalized the syllabus to bring relief to all students who are unable to attend their schools under the COVID19 pandemic fear. A major portion of the syllabus has been removed and all the topics that have been deleted will not be assessed in the internal assessment and the yearend examination in the current academic session (20202021).
