The Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education conceived the idea of starting a school on the public school lines in 1989. Today, KCP Siddhartha is one among the few new generation global schools in India. From the start, the school has attracted great interest from parents and students for its ground breaking education system not found in conventional schools. Half of the students come from outside Andhra Pradesh, creating a multi lingual and multi cultural educational environment.

The school is based on the residential system of education and combines in it the best traditions of the age-old Gurukul and the requirements of the prevailing socio-economic realities. Children are groomed on every aspect of life from education and discipline to the importance of values - all, without depriving them of their childhood.

The school is located at Kanuru, just two kilometers away from NTR University of Health Sciences on N.H-5 in Vijayawada city. The 20 acre campus has lawns and spacious play fields. The tranquil setting, away from the din, buzzle and dust of the city provides for an education that is not only stimulating and fascinating but also fulfilling and rewarding.
